About Me
My name is Tamara Letter and my journey of performing Random Acts of Kindness (RAKs) began as a celebration of my 40th birthday. Since that time, I have shared my stories through this blog, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest to include 40 RAKs for 40 years, #26acts for Sandy Hook victims, #AMOK, #megsmiles, #RAKFriday and countless others.
In 2014 I became a RAKtivist with the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation and shared my passion for kindness in an Ignite presentation for the International Society for Technology in Education conference. I have also presented at smaller venues, inspiring others through stories of kindness.
You can connect with me on Twitter (@tamaraletter), Facebook, or email. Let’s celebrate kindness together!

I’m looking forward to learning more about your experiences.

Tamara, I kind of stumbled into your blog after doing an image search for kindness. What a meaningful and rewarding site! I have been very fortunate to have been raised and surrounded by kind, loving, good people. It is just second nature for me to look for goodness in others and find ways to improve the human condition. I am encouraged by your words and acts of kindness toward others. Your ideas have inspired me to be more creative and sincere in lifting up others. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to share your experiences!
